The Pittsburgh Steelers made a practice squad roster move on Friday as guard Jacques McClendon was released and safety Damon Cromartie-Smith was signed back after clearing waivers.

Cromartie-Smith had been waived late Tuesday so that nose tackle Alameda Ta'amu could be added back to the 53 man roster from the suspended list.

McClendon had been signed to the practice squad a few weeks ago after center Maurkice Pouncey sprained his knee against the Tennessee Titans.
