The Steelers made one roster move on Monday as they released undrafted free agent fullback Demetrius Taylor and signed fullback Dwayne Wright off of waivers from Philadelphia. Wright (6-0, 234) signed with Philadelphia as a free agent in January 2010, after originally being drafted by the Buffalo Bills in the fourth round (111th overall) of the 2007 NFL Draft out of Fresno State. He appeared in 15 games with the Bills during his rookie season and gained 94 yards on 29 carries. Taylor had signed with the Steelers as an undrafted rookie this past April.

Doug Farrar of Yahoo Sports and Football Outsiders has contributed an article as part of Yahoo's Under Surveillance series prior to NFL training camps that looks at the major strengths and weaknesses of all 32 NFL teams. Farrar points out the Steelers biggest weakness being the inability to run the ball consistently and offers up a solution of more bunch receiver formations in 2010 and how the Steelers ran effectively out of that formation in 2009.

Well the release has come out of the new jersey uniform numbers for the Steelers latest 2010 class of rookies to join the team.
Some interesting notes:
If I am Antonio Brown, I take that #14 to a priest and let him exorcise the demons from it.
Not many choices left for #1 draft pick, Maurkice Pouncey. #52 is surely off limits although not retired.
Doug Worthington running around in Greg Lloyd's #95 will look weird.
Looks like Virginia Tech DT Demetrius Taylor is indeed a fullback now with #38. That should be fun to watch.
While it needs to be updated, here is the Steelers All-Time

Former Steelers quarterback Mike Tomczak was arrested on Monday after a domestic dispute with his wife at their home in Bell Acres. This is the first time Tomczak has been charged in several police trips to the couple's home for domestic problems. Geesh, what is going on? Get a damn divorce, will you? I am tired of all the negative light lately on current and former Steelers players.
Outside linebacker Lindsey Witten from Connecticut was a late add to the undrafted free agent list late Monday and according to VandySports.com, center Bradley Vierling may be added as well.
