Despite their win last Sunday night against the Chiefs, the Steelers received almost no help in the other week 12 games to get some separation as far as the 2011 playoff picture goes. The Ravens, Bengals, Texans, Patriots, Raiders and Titans all won, and unfortunately the Bills did not knock off the Jets. The Steelers can certainly knock the Bengals out of the AFC North race with a win against them on Sunday, but let's look at a few other games in week 13 that could certainly help the Steelers inch even close to a playoff birth.

Back-up NT Chris Hoke worked all week and it seems like he will be ready to resume his role of spelling starting NT Casey Hampton when needed.
For the Browns on Friday, QB Jake Delhomme (ankle) and QB Seneca Wallace (ankle) both sat out practice for a third straight day and both are listed as doubtful.

For the second straight day, G Trai Essex remains the only player listed on the teams injury report as he was limited for a second straight day as he recovers from his high ankle sprain. It is looking like Doug Legursky will once again start at right guard and Essex will in all likelihood be inactive once again.
For the Browns on Thursday, QB Jake Delhomme (ankle) and QB Seneca Wallace (ankle) both sat out practice for a second straight day. Also not practicing for

Nothing like bringing a plastic spoon to a gun fight, but that looks exactly like what will happen when the Steelers host the Cleveland Browns this upcoming Sunday. Early reports suggest that the Browns will start rookie 3rd round draft pick Colt McCoy at quarterback as both Seneca Wallace and Jake Delhomme are down with high ankle sprains on Monday and Wallace and Delhomme both underwent MRI's today. Things are so bad that the Browns were forced to sign former backup quarterback Brett Ratliff off the Patriots practice squad, according to ESPN's Adam Schefter. Starting a rookie QB will put more

Carl Prine of the Pittsburgh Tribune-Review has some what of a time line going on the night Ben Roethlisberger was accused of sexual assault. What does all this mean? Absolutely nothing other than Ben likes sushi.
As we reported last night, free agent linebacker Larry Foote is in town today and likely will be signed back to the Black & Gold by the end of the day if things go as expected.
I am not too sure what the Browns are doing, but I like it. They have signed quarterback Jake Delhomme and sent a conditional 2011 draft choice to the Seahawks for quarterback Seneca Wallace. They also traded
