Steelers Ravens Sound FX Video

If you have not seen it yet, you have to watch the most recent Sound FX of the Steelers Ravens Divisional Playoff Game from this past Saturday night in Pittsburgh at Heinz Field. There are some great sound bytes from Dick LeBeau, Hines Ward, James Farrior, Ben Roethlisberger and Mike Tomlin. It is also fun to hear Ravens wide receiver Derrick Mason mic’ed up and cry like a baby about being held. Watch the Sound FX video below or on NFL.com here. Steelers Offensive Line Breakdown Play By Play Versus Ravens Playoffs 2010

Below is the play by play break down of the offensive line from the Saturday week 19 playoff game versus the Baltimore Ravens. It is merely a pass or fail grade on if I think the lineman did his job or not. It also should be noted that we go under assumptions that we know what the assignment on each play was and sometimes it is not obvious. We have to grade on what we see and go from there. We added small notes to each play as well. As always if you disagree with any play, do so respectfully in the comments and give your reason so I can go back through and re-watch your disagreement. Ben Roethlisberger Blue Jacket From Cousin Eddie

I mentioned this in on Twitter in the pregame and post game about quarterback Ben Roethlisberger and his ugly blue jacket he wore yesterday. Chris Mack reminded me it was Cousin Eddie color jacket from the Vacation move. several have asked for a picture and I have one for you below from his post game press conference. He can wear whatever he wants as long as he keeps playing like he has. Enjoy! Not to be outdone by Ben, Hines Ward wore his Chinchilla coat. PETA haters will hate this for sure! Haters gonna hate. Steelers Beat Ravens 31-24 – Game Recap & Notes

What a bad start that was as the referees miss that the elbow was down and the Steelers had to use a challenge early. Props to Shaun Suisham for the effort there. Pretty sure Jeff Reed does not give that effort. Also great deep kick as well. First offensive drive did not get off to a great start with the Hines Ward penalty. I thought it should of been offsetting, but whatever. Good mix of run and pass and it ended with 7 points. Great start. Offensive line had good push to start. Held my breath when Ike Taylor went out of the game. Luckily he came back and was pretty much Ike Taylor. Bryant Read more [...]

7 Keys To The Steelers Beating The Ravens – Divisional Playoff Game Prediction

Did you expect anything different? You knew these two teams were on a collision course to meet again in the playoffs after the last time the two teams met back in week 13. Once again, one gets the pleasure of knocking the other division rival out of the playoffs. The Steelers are home favorites, but only by the expected 3 points. The Ravens waited back last week and let the Chiefs beat themselves. The Steelers used the bye week to get rested and healthy. I expect a typical Steelers Ravens game Saturday and do not expect tons of scoring either. Below are what we deem to be 7 keys to the game for Read more [...]

Early Prediction At Possible Divisional Game Inactives Against The Ravens

As far as how the inactive list will look on Saturday prior to the Divisional Round playoff game against the Baltimore Ravens, there really is only one slot that would be considered hard to nail down. As expected, Aaron Smith is still not ready to play. although not ruled out yet, he is listed as doubtful on the Friday injury report. It is a near lock that rookie Jonathan Dwyer and Chris Scott will be inactive. Tony Hills and Steve McLendon look to take their usual spots on the list as well. Charlie Batch is nearly certain to be the inactive 3rd QB. That leaves just 2 spots left to guess and one Read more [...]
